Doorman · for your assistant
Doorman speaks MCP — the open standard your assistant already uses. Connect it once to your community and ask, in plain words, for the things you do every week: “post a notice that the pool closes Tuesday, in English and Spanish”, “draft a poll on the new gym hours and open it”, “file these minutes under Board meetings”. It works under your name, inside your community only, and every action lands in the same audit trail as a click.

Write, publish, link the Spanish version.
File a PDF on the right shelf; the Concierge learns it.
Create, open, remind, close, publish the result — who voted is visible, what they voted never is.
Open an official vote (a person clicks, and it costs). Invite residents. Change your website’s design. Read a secret ballot. See another community.
One click
No command, no key to paste — pick a client below. Your own vault’s Assistant panel gives you the same links with your community’s name already filled in.
Opens Claude’s “Add custom connector” dialog, filled in. Sign in on Doorman’s own screen and pick your community.
Claude Desktop uses the same connector; custom connectors need a paid Claude plan.
Opens Cursor with the MCP server ready to add.
Opens VS Code with the MCP server ready to add.
Claude Code or Codex
Paste one sentence to your agent — it adds the server and signs in itself.
Add the Doorman MCP server for your community at https://lobbyhq.app/mcp/sites as a remote HTTP MCP server named doorman, then sign in when it asks.claude mcp add --transport http doorman https://lobbyhq.app/mcp/sites
(then /mcp to sign in)
codex mcp add doorman --url https://lobbyhq.app/mcp/sites
(then codex mcp login doorman)ChatGPT connectors read on Plus and Pro; tools that write need a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace. Use the access key below if your plan allows it.
For a client that cannot sign in — a key shown once, revocable here.
No surprises
Every tool your assistant can call, by name, and who else may call it. The list is the server’s own — nothing here is a promise the code does not keep.

Kept safe
A key reaches one community and nothing else — not even another one you manage.
Revoke it in the vault; it stops that second. Lose the manager role, it stops too. Keys expire in 90 days.
Every action is in the audit trail as you, with the key that did it named.
Prefer no key? Point your client at the server and sign in with Google or a magic link (OAuth 2.1); pick the community on the consent screen.
Common questions
Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP: Claude (Desktop and Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, and others. The vault shows the exact configuration for each when you create an access key.
Post and correct notices, write and publish blog posts, upload documents and file them in folders, fill in units and floors, end a residence, and create, open, remind, close and publish polls — the same things a manager does in the vault, under the manager’s name. Ending a residence removes that person’s access only when it was their only unit and they are not management.
Open an official vote, invite residents, change the website’s design, read a secret ballot, or reach another community. These are refused by the server, not just left out of the instructions.
Every action is written to the community’s audit trail as the manager whose key was used, with that key named — the same trail a click in the vault writes to.
Revoke the key in the vault’s Assistant panel; it stops immediately. A key also stops when its holder loses the manager role, and every key expires 90 days after it was created.
No. Assistant access is included with Doorman.
