Condo package management
for the front desk.

Desk gives the front desk a parcel log: record each parcel with its recipient when it arrives, update the collection record when it is picked up, and find it again later. It sits on the same record as the visitors and the shift log.

Fictional records · visitor and parcel workflows are separate.

The parcel log

A package log the whole desk can follow.

Desk supports the daily work of community managers and their teams. For parcels, that means a clear record of the parcel, its recipient and its collection.

Intake with the recipient

Add the parcel to the community’s intake records with its recipient information.

Scan the label

Point the device at the shipping label. Desk reads the name and unit and matches the resident, so the parcel is logged without typing.

Email the resident

Desk emails the residents of the unit when their parcel arrives, with an optional note from the desk. Residents who turned parcel email off are skipped.

Collection record

Update the collection record when the parcel is picked up.

Parcel list and detail view

Use the parcel list and detail view to find the record your team needs.

Shift log and passdowns

Each shift opens and closes on the record. The daily log, incidents and passdown notes for the next shift travel with it, and the shift summary prints as a PDF.

A package, start to finish

From the delivery
to the pickup.

A front desk package log should follow the parcel from the door to the resident and leave a record behind.

  1. Record the parcel at intake

Scan the label or add the parcel by hand with its recipient. Desk emails the resident that it has arrived.

  2. Find it when someone asks

Open the parcel list and detail view to find the record for the unit and the recipient.

  3. Record the pickup

Update the collection record when the parcel is picked up.

  4. Hand the shift over

The shift closes on the record, with passdown notes for the next shift.

Questions teams ask

Condo package management FAQ.

What is condo package management software?

Software the front desk uses to record each parcel when it arrives and to keep a record of its collection. In Desk, a parcel record carries its recipient, and the team finds it again in the parcel list and detail view.

How does the front desk log a package?

Scan the shipping label, or add the parcel by hand, with its recipient. Desk emails the residents of the unit that it has arrived. When the parcel is picked up, update its collection record.

How does the team find a parcel later?

Use the parcel list and detail view to find the record your team needs, with the recipient and the collection record close at hand.

Are visitors and parcels handled together?

They are separate workflows. Visitors have unit-linked history and your community’s configured visitor types and forms. Parcels have intake, recipients and collection records.

Does the parcel log connect to the shift log?

Desk keeps both on one record. Each shift opens and closes on the record. The daily log, incidents and passdown notes for the next shift travel with it, and the shift summary prints as a PDF.
